This Is Her | Jessica Coram

Over the past several weeks, I’ve been writing about strong women throughout history and how jewelry has often been a symbol of identity, strength, and confidence.

But strong women aren’t just found in history books.

They are all around us.

They are business owners, mothers, professionals, leaders, and women who quietly carry a tremendous amount of responsibility every day.

I design jewelry for these women.

I’d like to introduce you to one of them.
This is Jessica Coram.

Jessica shared something with me that really stayed with me.

Even though she is someone who shows up with strength and presence, she admitted that she still has moments of doubt.

“It’s always interesting how others see me when I often doubt myself.”

And that felt important.

Because strength doesn’t mean the absence of doubt.
It means continuing forward in spite of it.

She also shared something else that feels just as important.

“Life isn’t a competition. It’s beautiful when we learn to lean on each other.”

Jessica believes deeply in encouraging other women, lifting each other up, and choosing connection over competition.

In a world where it can feel easy to compare or compete, that kind of perspective stands out.

Jessica has built a life that is full in every sense.

She works in the medical field as a lab technologist, a role she genuinely loves and feels called to. She and her husband of 19 years also own and operate a family automotive business that has served their community for decades.

She is also a mother of two sons, something she describes as one of the greatest joys in her life.

Her life is layered.

Busy.
Meaningful.
Full.

And grounded in her faith, which is where she draws her strength.

When I asked her when she feels most confident, her answer had nothing to do with appearance.

“I feel the strongest not because of how I look, but because of the confidence I have, the energy I have, and the drive I have to complete what’s in front of me.”

That is strength.

Not surface-level.
Not something you put on.
But something you carry.

Jewelry, for Jessica, becomes part of that expression.

She is drawn to bold pieces. Pieces that stand out immediately. Something a little unexpected.

“I’m drawn to something that catches my eye within seconds… something a little unusual.”

She pairs those pieces simply, often with neutral clothing, allowing the jewelry to speak for itself.

And when everything comes together, something shifts.

There is confidence.
There is energy.
There is presence.

Not just in how she looks, but in how she moves through her life.

Jessica represents exactly the kind of woman I design for.

Not perfect.
Not without doubt.
But strong.
Supportive.
Grounded.
And becoming who she is meant to be.

Jewelry has never been just decoration to me.
It has always been about identity, confidence, and strength.

And women like Jessica are the reason why.

This is the first in a series of stories about the women who wear Lepa Jewelry.
